This site is dedicated to individuals living with sight in only one eye or someone living with a prosthetic (artificial) eye. These conditions can result in many physical and emotional challenges. The author will share information and answer any questions you may have based on 40+ years of monocular vision and having worn over 10 different prostetic eyes.
Thanks for taking the time to do this Web site. I think it will be beneficial.
Hi ,
I think what you are doing here is excellent and will help a lot of people. I am developing a similar site http://www.artificialeyes.net which is also dedicated to individuals living with sight in only one eye or someone living with a prosthetic (artificial) eye.
The difference is that my site is coming from the perspective of the ocularist and provides information which I believe would be beneficial where your site gives a first hand and more personal experience.
Your site is in the early stages of development and you already have some good information published. I would like to see you personalise the site with your name,a photo of yourself on the about the author page and maybe a bit more about your experiences with work, play and family.
I look forward to seeing the development of your site and plan to write a blog with link to your site shortly. If you would like to write a short blog about your site and your motivation for setting it up I would be happy to publish it on my site. I believe it would read better coming from the first person and you will get a better click through rate.
Kind regards
Paul
